Key Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating knowledge of industry trends and identifying client issues and conflicts.
- Manage compliance and consulting in areas of Section 1031 exchange, Section 754 step-up, Section 163(j) interest limitation, and Section 1231 gain/loss calculations.
- Analyze and implement aspects of partnership/LLC operating agreements with respect to tax applications.
- Provide clients with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth.
- Research tax and accounting issues and provide guidance to clients.
- Work closely with staff, assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
- Masters degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years experience in public accounting or related field.
- 5 years supervisory experience.
- Must have and preserve required licenses.
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments, and prioritize each assignment as necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.
- Proficient use of applicable technology.
- Ability to travel based on business needs.
- Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
