Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Therapy 2000, a leading provider of pediatric healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in delivering high-quality care to families in need.

This is a full-time, part-time, or PRN position based in our South Houston division, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
  • Act as a vital member of the patients' medical team, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
  • Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork as required.
  • Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • A current and active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • An innovative spirit and a demonstrated history of reliability.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs of the business.
  • Ability to use common workplace technology.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a home health setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.
