Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Labcorp. As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CORE lab department, ensuring that laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct laboratory personnel to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations
  • Monitor and maintain quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services
  • Provide coaching and feedback to laboratory personnel to enhance their skills and performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technologist
  • Previous supervisor/people leadership experience is highly preferred
  • Have or be eligible for a Medical Laboratory Supervisor license in Tennessee
  • ASCP or AMT certification is highly preferred
