Operating Room Nurse Opportunity in Seattle

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Providence Swedish First Hill Campus in Seattle, Washington.
About the RoleThis is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a 36-hour workweek. You will be working in a fast-paced operating room environment, providing direct and individualized care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.
As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing patients for surgery by administering medications, conducting pre-operative assessments, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
- Monitoring patients during surgery, responding to any complications or emergencies that may arise.
- Carefully managing anesthesia, pain management, and other critical aspects of patient care.
You will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care throughout the surgical process.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during this challenging time.
