We are in search of a highly proficient Electronic Warfare Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in the design, testing, and construction of Electronic Support (ES), Electronic Attack (EA), and/or Electronic Protection (EP) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and evaluate electronic warfare systems, including jammers, signal processors, and signal identification tools.
- Conduct modeling and simulation to assess radio system performance and essential functions such as triangulation.
- Develop and implement signal processing algorithms tailored for electronic warfare applications.
- Design and optimize antenna systems specifically for electronic warfare platforms.
- Utilize frequency hopping and other counter-jamming strategies to bolster system resilience.
- Perform modeling, system analysis, and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal functionality of electronic warfare systems.
- Collaborate with and mentor a talented group of hardware and software engineers, aiding generalists in grasping the fundamentals of electronic warfare.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in electronic warfare technology and apply best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in electronic warfare, signal processing, or a related area.
- Extensive experience with MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, GNU Radio, and Python.
- Proficient in using SDRs, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
- Thorough understanding of Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and antenna design.
- Familiarity with frequency hopping and various counter-jamming techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to government regulations, specifically ITAR and EAR, along with the potential need for security clearance.
