We are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Maintenance Mechanic for our Third shift.

  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all required protocols and reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions promptly. Participate in mandatory safety training and maintain all safety features of the machinery.
  • Oversee a designated set of looms, providing assistance to colleagues as necessary.
  • Ensure optimal operational efficiency of looms for the specific fabric styles being produced.
  • Prepare looms for weaving by installing gears and setting up necessary components.
  • Verify the accurate startup of new warps, ensuring compliance with production specifications.
  • Complete quality checklists and sign off on each new warp.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on looms, responding to breakdowns and following the preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Document all parts used and repairs made during your shift, maintaining accurate records for each loom.
  • Perform regular inspections of looms to identify and address any faults swiftly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the weaving areas.
  • Monitor looms flagged for attention by operators and respond in a timely manner.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude, with a requirement to pass a mechanical aptitude assessment for consideration. A high school diploma or GED is necessary.
  • Relevant experience in machinery repair and troubleshooting is essential for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.30 per hour upon completion of training
