Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for machinery maintenance? BGF Industries, a leading manufacturer of technical textile materials, is seeking a skilled Machinery Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Cheraw, SC.

Job Summary:

The Machinery Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and leading the technical aspects of the weaving operation to meet BGF's requirements and customer satisfaction. This includes troubleshooting quality issues, identifying reasons for machine stops, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and identify reasons for machine stops
  • Meet with Plant Manager to communicate on safety, quality, production, and equipment requirements
  • Maintain a safe work environment for all employees
  • Assist employees in maintaining highest quality standards
  • Help control downtime and machinery malfunction
  • Complete PO Requisitions for parts and supplies
  • Manage the Reed program
  • Coordinate and communicate with Vendors
  • Oversee PM checks of Loom Technicians
  • Assist with Physical Inventory and Supply Inventory
  • Oversee Hot Melt operation and safety compliance
  • Handle disposal of waste oil
  • Maintain appropriate communications with fellow managers
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED with demonstrated Technical Experience in Weaving
  • Prior Technician/Technical Leadership Experience
