Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician IV plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities. This position requires expertise in refrigeration and HVAC systems, along with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest repair requests and communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper lubrication.
  • Perform visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery to identify maintenance needs.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.
  • Document daily activities and communicate issues to other shifts using approved protocols.
  • Exhibit advanced skills in multiple areas including air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Safely execute complex repairs on physical property, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify safety hazards and equipment issues.
  • Utilize Lockout/Tagout procedures before commencing maintenance work.
  • Maintain knowledge of maintenance contracts and vendor relationships.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
Qualifications

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical diploma in HVAC/refrigeration.
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance and hotel engineering.

Required:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Certification in refrigeration or electrical systems.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification.
