Key Responsibilities:- User Research and Analysis: Conduct exploratory research to gather user insights and design trends, evaluate user interface concepts, and translate user needs into user experience and interface requirements and specifications.
- Design Development: Create user journeys, user interface illustrations, storyboards, prototypes, and wireframes that meet the needs of our users.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, human factors, quality, clinical & medical affairs, regulatory affairs, commercial, legal, and purchasing to ensure that design solutions meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all design solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Design Tools and Software: Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and 3D CAD tools such as Solidworks or Fusion 360.
- Education: Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Industrial/Creative Design, Medical Illustration, Information Design, User Experience, Usability Engineering, or other relevant degrees in device design or biotech industry or consumer technology.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, Industrial/Creative Design, Medical Illustration, Information Design, User Experience, Usability Engineering, or other relevant degrees in device design or biotech industry or consumer technology.
- Skills: Proficiency in UX/UI design principles, including user research, prototyping, and usability testing. Strong visual and graphic design skills with a focus on user experience. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in medical device design.
