About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at BluSky. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including general carpentry, demolition, tile work, and trim carpentry.
  • Hang cabinets, doors, and taping, and perform light electrical and plumbing work.
  • Rough framing, including re-framing homes and setting trusses.
  • Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship, and polite communication.
  • Comply with safety, quality, and procedural standards.
Requirements
  • Direct experience working as a skilled carpenter is required.
  • Knowledge of carpentry and use of carpentry-related hand and power tools.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work in confined areas, such as crawl spaces.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Communicate effectively in oral and written forms to execute required paperwork.
  • Identify hazards in assigned work areas.
  • Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
  • Meet the mental and physical demands of the job.
  • Ability to work with people in a professional manner.
  • Maintains a valid and current driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
