About the Role

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Shift Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day performance of a team of nurses in delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills to supervise a group of nurses in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of nursing practice standards and be able to motivate their team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska
  • BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS certifications may be required depending on specialty
  • Demonstrated proficiency as a nurse at SCF or 2 years of supervisory experience

Native Preference:

Under P.L. 93-638, SCF follows a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training. Certification from SCF Human Resources is required before applicants receive preference.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role ranges from $46.25 to $63.21 per hour, based on industry standards and location. Pay range: $46.25 to $71.69 per hour.
