Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Wake Radiology. As a Mammography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing patient diagnostic and screening mammography procedures in our diagnostic imaging centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to explain procedures and request important medical information.
  • Position patients on examining tables in adherence with protocols.
  • Communicate with patients throughout the procedure to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
  • Print, label, and display images for radiologists to review.
  • Assist radiologists with patient interactions and provide support as needed.
  • Stay organized and adapt to changing situations to meet current needs.
Requirements
  • Associate or two-year degree in radiography.
  • Current ARRT registration and mammography registration.
  • Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency with major equipment hardware and software.
