Job Summary

Raleigh Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality CT studies and radiography to outpatients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients
  • Follow established protocols, policies, procedures, and specific instructions to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures
  • Perform diagnostic procedures safely and efficiently, prioritizing patient needs and assessing their condition
  • Record and report patient care observations, administering contrast and assisting with tests and procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with co-workers and physicians to ensure seamless patient care and maintain clear communication
  • Handle emergencies and maintain a safe environment, serving as a team player and role model
Requirements
  • Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, with a strong understanding of radiological procedures and patient care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to handle emergencies and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions based on patient condition, and follow directions
  • Flexibility, dependability, and professionalism required
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with additional documented training in CT
  • Previous experience in a busy office or hospital is preferred
  • CPR certification required, with continuous certification in CPR
  • Successful completion of registry for Radiologic Technologists with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 months of employment
  • Successful completion of registry in CT with ARRT within 12 months of employment
