Job Summary:

Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center in Raleigh, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient imaging environment, adhering to established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the imaging center team to provide exceptional patient care and improve clinical practices.

Requirements:

  • Preferred 2 years of experience as a Radiography Technologist.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Education and Certifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiology or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current registration.
  • State licensure requirement for the state of practice.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and ancillary devices.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Accurate and concise documentation skills.
  • Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems.
