Position: Senior Rigging Supervisor

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide small teams in the field for the installation of project-specific assets as directed by the Foreman.
  • Accountable for the proper installation of all overhead assets, utilizing various rigging methods from trees, existing structures, or temporary setups.
  • Employ extensive rigging expertise to ensure that all installations are executed correctly and safely.
  • Request additional materials and tools from the On-Site Logistics Coordinator to facilitate timely task completion.
  • Collaborate with the On-Site Logistics team to efficiently pack and organize assets for assigned projects during the load-out phase, adhering to Memoir's standards.
  • Engage in pre-shift and post-shift meetings with the crew to review objectives and achievements, contributing any pertinent insights related to their responsibilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, contributing to the overall tidiness of the site.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all assigned projects through pre-production discussions, enabling effective management of tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in rigging.
  • Preferred 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Capability to lift various objects, primarily under 50 lbs, with reasonable accommodations available for differently-abled individuals.
  • Proficient in using basic hand tools and power tools (e.g., drills, impact drivers, socket wrenches).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues as they arise in the field.
  • Competence in performing essential setup and load-out duties safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading event vehicles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Punctuality and flexibility to work all assigned shifts.

Compensation: Starting at $30 per hour, with potential for higher rates based on significant experience. Crew members will typically work around 40 hours per week during installation and dismantling periods, with weekly payment schedules.
