Our client is a well-established firm specializing in commercial litigation, with a growing need for administrative support due to increased business activity.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Support Specialist to support attorneys in managing case files and administrative tasks related to commercial litigation. The role focuses on document preparation and case organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with case management, including document preparation and calendar organization.
  • Handle e-filing for federal and state courts, particularly in New York.
  • Manage attorney billing, invoicing, and expense reporting.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Be willing to travel for trial support, with trials lasting 2 weeks at a time, typically 2-3 times a year.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation; trial experience and familiarity with plaintiff-side class actions are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management tools.
  • Experience with Chrome River and Aderant is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Additional Details:

  • Initial 90 days require full-time in-office attendance, followed by a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
