RN Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator

At Jefferson Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for improving the quality of care provided to injured patients across all areas and disciplines of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Trauma Medical Director and Trauma Program Manager to develop and implement the Trauma Performance Improvement Program/Plan.
- Collect, analyze, and trend data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to hospital and trauma policies and procedures, as well as clinical practice management guidelines.
- Work closely with the Trauma Medical Director and Trauma Program Manager to identify and develop processes to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- 5+ years of experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care areas required.
- 3+ years of quality improvement experience required.
- Ability to manage projects and perform statistical analysis with problem-solving skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database management required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Experience with utilizing performance measurement tools and techniques, such as control charts and PDSA, preferred.
Conditions of Employment:
- Current Pennsylvania RN license required.
- Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson Health.
