About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Paving Machine Operator to join our team at Holcim (US). As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of asphalt paving projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and direct the activities of project personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to implement successful project plans.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise the work of site operatives to ensure all work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage equipment and materials required for projects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to lead by example and ensure team members adhere to company values.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information effectively.
  • 1 year experience as an asphalt laborer or flagger.
  • Knowledge of road and traffic regulations.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on weekends, public holidays, and at night.
  • Ability to travel to project sites.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
