Insurance Agent Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and goal-oriented Insurance Agent to join our team at Insurance Incorporated in Palm Desert, CA. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for promoting and selling personal lines insurance products, including home, auto, dwelling fire, RV's, and Umbrella insurance, to both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales: Promote and sell personal lines insurance products to clients.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to generate new business through effective sales techniques, networking, and lead generation.
  • Policy Review: Conduct comprehensive policy reviews with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional coverage.
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional service to our existing policyholders by addressing inquiries, processing policy changes, recommending appropriate coverage enhancements, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Accurately maintain client records, policy documentation, and assist clients with any administrative needs related to their insurance policies.
Requirements:
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Personal Lines or Property Casualty License: Must have a valid license to apply.
  • Passion for Helping Clients: A passion for helping clients protect their assets and achieve their insurance goals.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
