You will engage in immediate problem-solving as well as contribute to long-term operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily international logistics in collaboration with the Warehouse and Logistics Managers.
  • Process domestic and international freight quotes and shipments, utilizing various shipping methods while being familiar with INCOTERMS.
  • Comply with export regulations, ensuring accurate classifications and shipping terms are applied.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted to the appropriate carrier or recipient.
  • Maintain and organize related documentation as required.
  • Respond to standard inquiries from Customer Service regarding shipping matters.
  • Investigate customer shipping claims, including lost or damaged items and mis-shipments.
  • Review carrier invoices for accuracy and report findings to the internal accounting team.
  • Participate in the annual evaluation of carrier performance.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in domestic and international shipping, including small-parcel and freight.
  • Advanced knowledge of standard carrier operations: UPS, FedEx, DHL, 3PL, and USPS.
  • 3+ years of experience with Netsuite; familiarity with Pacejet is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with knowledge of standard shipping documentation for both domestic and international shipments.
  • Understanding of Harmonized System Codes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and operate a manual pallet jack, handling loads up to 400 pounds.
