Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Team Lead to join our team at Dollar General. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized store, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide superior customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean and well-organized store by performing tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and recovering merchandise.
- Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by implementing sales strategies, analyzing sales data, and making recommendations to improve sales performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 6 months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred.
- Skills: Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills, understanding of safety policies and practices, ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides.
- Frequent walking and standing.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to run check out station, stock merchandise and unload trucks.
- Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment.
- Frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds.
- Occasional climbing (using step ladder) up to heights of six feet.
- Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level.
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Occasional or regular driving/providing own transportation to make bank deposits, attend management meetings and travel to other Dollar General stores.
