Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing high-performance control systems for electric motor applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced control systems for electric motors, including motor-generators, power inverters, and energy storage systems.
  • Create and maintain simulation models of these systems for performance evaluation.
  • Derive high-integrity plant and control models, validating them through simulation and testing.
  • Implement control algorithms for electric motors and inverters in embedded C.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to the required quality standards.

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred, with at least 5 years of industry experience in advanced control systems for electric motors.
  • Deep knowledge of high-performance motor control algorithms and software, including field-oriented control and direct torque/flux control.
  • Experience with Simulink and digital signal processors.
  • Strong project management and delivery skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
