**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to Stonerise Healthcare's high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Assist in preparing food and desserts for noon and evening snacks, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Inspect and maintain food quality, temperature, and appearance before serving, adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage leftover food, discarding outdated items and maintaining accurate records.
  • Operate kitchen equipment with precision and attention to detail, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to plan and execute menus, ensuring nutritional value and resident satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cooking experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to read and write, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
