About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced administrative support assistant to provide professional level administrative support services to assigned departments or programs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide information and assistance to students, faculty, administrators, and the college community.
- Assist in planning meetings, special events, and projects.
- Serve as liaison between departments or programs and other offices or organizations.
- Analyze and process data into college systems.
- Maintain records and files.
- Answer and direct telephone calls.
- Compile reports, documents, forms, and correspondence.
- Manage course, program, and personnel paperwork.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma/GED and five years related office experience, or an Associate's Degree and three years related office experience.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to complete and pass Microsoft testing modules, including Word and Excel, and demonstrate typing speed of 35 wpm.
- Candidates with proof of current Microsoft Office Expert Specialist Certification do not need to test.
