Job Title: Director, Water/Wastewater

Overview

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Director to lead its Water/Wastewater Service in Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing water and wastewater infrastructure design within the Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of local service leads and project managers across Texas in building successful client relationships.
  • Assign project managers to clients and projects, and oversee the financial performance and execution of all projects within their client portfolio.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to build the business within the market, including seeking new business opportunities and coordinating with the Division Leader to develop market objectives.
  • Define business development initiatives for their team and support marketing efforts.
  • Represent Westwood at conferences and industry events, and negotiate contractual agreements with support from the legal team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
  • PE license.
  • Demonstrate and support Westwood's culture and core values.
  • Direct experience in the management and design of water and wastewater projects.
  • Experience developing and fostering client relationships.
  • Good reputation amongst industry, peers, and clients.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines without supervision.
  • Demonstrate financial responsibility with a strong understanding of financial metrics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Able to follow general directions and guidelines for the firm's policies, practices, and procedures.
