About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Expanded Learning Coordinator to join our team at Children's Home Society of Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the development and implementation of extended learning and enrichment programs for Community Partnership Schools.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations, school staff, and other collaborators to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Coordinate evaluation processes, including surveys of students, parents, and staff, to ensure program quality and improvement.
  • Facilitate regular after-school meetings and professional development opportunities for staff and community partners.
  • Assist with general clerical office tasks as needed and maintain accurate records and statistics.
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist in after-school programming.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited university, strongly preferred; or Bachelor's degree in Education or Human Services field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a school or community agency setting, required.
  • One year of experience implementing or supervising a positive learning environment, preferred.
Competencies
  • Knowledge of school programming and volunteer coordination.
  • Skills and proficiency in planning, project management, organization, and time management, as well as oral and written communication, collaboration, and computer systems.
