Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Essentia Health's Fargo Hospital on 32nd Avenue. This full-time evening position requires a 40-hour workweek, with a holiday rotation and occasional weekends.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment, ensuring clean, safe, and sterile instruments are available for hospital staff to use in patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Reprocess reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment
  • Ensure clean, safe, and sterile instruments are available for hospital staff
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements:
  • Certified as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) within 2 years of hire

Work Environment:

This position is located at Essentia Health's Fargo Hospital on 32nd Avenue, with a shift rotation of evenings (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm) and occasional weekends.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base pay with experience and a $1 hourly adder for team lead responsibilities.
