Biology Instructor

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Biology Instructor to join our team. As a Biology Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching online courses in Biology and contributing to the educational environment of the college and the community.

• Teach online courses in Biology and develop curriculum to meet the needs of students
• Use innovative methodologies, techniques, and delivery methods to improve the quality of instruction
• Develop and use a syllabus for each course within college and departmental guidelines
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
• Submit required college reports and forms
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community

• Mastery of course content
• Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and appreciate alternative viewpoints
