About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Communication and Language Development Specialist to join our team at Soliant Health. This is a full-time, contract position with a school district near Moses Lake, WA.

Job Summary

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will support students' communication and language development needs by working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-aged children and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist SLPs in providing speech and language services to students.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Document and maintain records of student progress as directed by supervising SLPs.
  • Prepare materials and activities for therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' communication needs.
  • Ensure compliance with educational standards by following district policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Current SLPA license in the state of Washington.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will receive comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
