In this role, you will act as the primary authority on the client's A/V technology landscape. Your responsibilities will include facilitating meeting and event management through virtual communication support, presentation assistance, and equipment maintenance services. You will also manage video/web-conferencing connections, hardware and software requirements, conference room bookings, room setup and teardown, presentation support, and videography. This position is primarily on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main Point of Contact (POC) with vendors to deliver innovative solutions to clients and teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors to design current and future conference room setups.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality integrated A/V solutions for conference rooms.
  • Work alongside Senior Government Leadership to innovate conference room technologies.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to ensure client schedules, performance, and budget goals are achieved.
  • Support operations and troubleshooting efforts, including root cause analysis for A/V issues.
  • Cross-train team members on A/V troubleshooting techniques.
  • Stay updated on technical standards and trends in the A/V and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) industries.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and user manuals.
  • Manage and oversee all A/V technology and virtual communication equipment.
  • Set up, install, test, operate, and maintain equipment for A/V conferencing needs.
  • Conduct A/V system deployments, including hardware and software installations.
  • Monitor and manage conference room scheduling and reservations.
  • Inventory and maintain all A/V equipment.
  • Operate sound and visual equipment during live events.
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including inspections and upgrades.
  • Install video switching devices, media converters, and other A/V support equipment.
  • Conduct health checks on conference rooms to ensure functionality.
  • Provide customer support during meetings, including video teleconferencing and presentation setups.
  • Respond to and track service requests.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant work experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of two years of A/V experience is required.
  • Proficiency in various unified communications platforms, including MS Teams, Zoom, and other VTC systems.
  • Strong understanding of multi-room A/V system integration.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for video-conferencing and A/V technologies.
  • Knowledge of A/V troubleshooting methods and techniques.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to navigate throughout various buildings.

Certifications:

  • Certified Technology Specialist Design (CTS-D) is required.
  • Additional certifications in A/V technologies are preferred but not mandatory.
