Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider: Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. As a key member of our pediatric bone marrow transplant team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our young patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care to pediatric blood and marrow transplant patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of the attending physician.
- Assess, triage, and manage transplant patients as part of a collaborative transplant team.
- Obtain medical history, perform physical examinations, review and order diagnostic studies, and prescribe treatments.
- Provide follow-up care to bone marrow donors under the supervision of the attending physician.
- Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program (appropriate for care of Pediatric patients).
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Washington.
- Have National Certification as appropriate for profession.
- DEA licensure required at time of credentialing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- EMR based computer skills and experience with CPOE preferred.
- Strong team player with a can-do attitude is a must.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team is essential.
- Must enjoy long-term relationships with patients undergoing intense therapy.
- Pediatrics, Oncology or BMT experience preferred.
