Regional Facilities Specialist

As a Regional Facilities Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of safety, comfort, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs, providing comprehensive reports to senior management.
  • Secure and review vendor proposals for various services, including janitorial, HVAC, security, and more, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate and monitor vendor activities, overseeing site preparation, installations, and employee notifications.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with landlords, ensuring we receive excellent service as defined in our lease agreements.
  • Manage equipment and supplies to maintain health and safety standards, and oversee waste disposal processes.
  • Coordinate internal office relocations, furniture, and workspace redesigns, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Provide support and work with local regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with building, fire, and general code regulations.
  • Manage administrative functions, including vendor invoice processing and facilities work documentation.
  • Assist the Director of Facilities with financial analysis, forecasting, and budget preparation, as well as safety and security matters.
  • Support corporate Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity initiatives, and participate in special projects related to Facilities Management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • General understanding of electrical, HVAC, fire safety codes, and OSHA regulations.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • OSHA 10 Certified (General Industry).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • OSHA 30 Certified (General Industry).
  • Professional certifications, such as IFMA FMP or CFM.
