Position Overview:
C.H. Robinson is on the lookout for a dedicated Operations Supervisor for our 2nd shift in a large-scale logistics facility.

As a pivotal figure in our expansive operations, you will manage the daily functions of the Distribution Center, ensuring peak productivity and effective cost management for our valued clients.

In the role of Logistics Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, particularly focusing on outbound logistics. Collaborating with account management and sourcing teams, you will ensure clear communication and accountability throughout the process. Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Overseeing operational execution for all services provided to C.H. Robinson clients
  • Enhancing safety, efficiency, and accuracy across all operations
  • Analyzing workload against manpower and equipment availability
  • Implementing staffing models aligned with workload demands to optimize efficiency
  • Managing departmental KPIs while controlling costs and adhering to budgetary constraints
  • Establishing safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards
  • Coordinating with Transportation to facilitate seamless inbound and outbound logistics
  • Partnering with Service Assurance to meet all customer requirements
  • Conducting daily pre-shift meetings to discuss safety, productivity, operational insights, and relevant company updates
  • Leading the training, development, and performance management of team members
  • Performing gap analyses on warehouse standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of effective and safe warehousing practices
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Availability to work Monday – Thursday from 5 pm – 3 am
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screening is required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all organizational levels
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams
  • Proven track record of delivering accurate and organized results under pressure
  • Capacity to thrive in an entrepreneurial, multi-tasking environment
