About the Role

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a highly skilled Community Health Intervention Specialist to lead and implement impactful programs aimed at preventing and intervening in youth substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement evidence-based youth substance use prevention and intervention programs.
  • Develop training programs for youth and adults, and coordinate community partnerships.
  • Manage budgets, conduct needs assessments, and ensure the collection and submission of evaluation data.
  • Participate in advocacy groups and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience OR a master's degree with 2+ years of experience in behavioral health or education.
  • Expertise in substance use prevention and intervention.
  • Proven experience working with youth, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office and online systems.
  • A valid driver's license, private insurance, and the ability to travel within the service area are required.
  • Home internet connection.
  • Must be able to obtain DCFS CANTS Child Abuse Clearance.
