Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care and education within the outpatient environment.
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including annual wellness checks.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on clinical findings.
  • Prescribe medications in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and care provided.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss patient care strategies.
  • Exhibit independent clinical judgment in patient management.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required by the practice.

Professional Collaboration:

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow healthcare providers. Adhere to prescriptive practices and engage in practice initiatives while participating in required meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited program qualifying for the NCCPA certification.
  • Current certification by the relevant NP/PA governing body.
  • Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Current DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through required CME.
