Job Summary

Ferris State University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Finance Instructor to teach a broad spectrum of undergraduate Finance classes. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Business or a related field and three years of teaching experience in Finance or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate Finance classes, including Personal Finance, Financial Management I, Financial Institutions and Markets, Real Estate Finance, and Mathematics of Finance.
  • Develop and implement course materials, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student learning outcomes.
  • Participate in program assessment activities and contribute to the development of curriculum.
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching and learning skills.
  • Collaborate with program faculty to ensure consistency and quality in teaching and learning.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of teaching experience in Finance or a related field.
  • Certification in Finance or Accounting (e.g. CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Business or a related field.
  • Experience in online or hybrid teaching.
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices.
