Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amcor plc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and develop effective solutions to resolve problems and prevent future occurrences.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with established quality standards and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: 2-year Electro-Mechanical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an industrial setting working with machine processes, schedules, and a variety of individuals involved in the manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC troubleshooting, and ability to wire up to 480-volt systems for industrial machinery.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending.
