About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our Prep Hold (PACU) department.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients undergoing invasive or non-invasive procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the pre-procedure and post-procedure periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, make accurate diagnoses, and develop effective plans of care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate smooth departmental operations by completing all necessary logs, requisitions, and documentation in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure seamless communication with medical staff and other healthcare team members to promote continuity of care and attainment of desired patient outcomes.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify nursing diagnoses and develop tailored interventions to address unique patient needs.
  • Maintain operational standards that uphold patient rights, including informed consent, confidentiality, and privacy.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • 2-4 years of related experience in intensive care nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification / PALS.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including a matched retirement plan, paid time off, and bonus potential.
