Overview
The K-6 Activity Coordinator will oversee multiple clubs each week for students in grades 1-6 and will also engage with Kindergarten students. This role requires a dynamic approach to education, fostering a supportive and adaptable learning environment.
Responsibilities
As an Activity Coordinator, you will:
- Lead five distinct clubs weekly, catering to the diverse interests of students.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to create an engaging atmosphere.
- Provide individualized support to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a changing educational landscape.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Strong independent working skills with effective communication abilities.
- A commitment to maintaining the program schedule throughout the academic year.
- A passion for working with elementary-aged children.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Work Schedule
This position operates Monday through Friday, aligning with the academic calendar of the Grand County School District. Specific hours include:
- Monday to Thursday: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $21 per hour.
