About the Role
Gilder Search Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President, Business Development to lead market initiatives in your state. This role requires a driven expert who can effectively communicate the benefits of our free service to meeting sponsors, increasing attendance, donations, and votes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and connect with industry leaders regarding their communication and participation needs.
- Build and maintain a pipeline to meet and exceed growth targets.
- Engage in daily activities including cold/warm/follow-up calls, networking, and sponsor presentations.
- Consult with meeting sponsors on onboarding options for their staff.
- Expand service offerings within accounts.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales/business development experience.
- Experience selling creative services at the enterprise level, with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives and generate sponsor and subscriber retention.
- Proficient in using CRM systems.
- Strong critical thinking, research, and analysis capabilities.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% within your territory.
