Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Technician

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Technician to join our team at Republic Services. In this critical role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty diesel equipment and trucks.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair complex vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using advanced tools and techniques.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Safely provide road service when necessary to ensure prompt return to operation.
- 1+ year of experience in a technician position, with knowledge of both gasoline and diesel-powered equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to perform basic inspections with limited supervision in various heavy truck or automotive systems.
- ASE certifications (T1-T8) are a plus, but not required.
