Job Summary:

Highline Water District is seeking a skilled Utility Worker or Senior Utility Worker to join our team in maintaining the reliability and quality of our water distribution and treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water distribution and treatment systems, including pipes, pumps, and valves.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, such as water treatment plants and pumping stations.
  • Conduct water quality tests and analyze results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the installation and repair of new water infrastructure, including pipes and valves.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintenance of our water systems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in water treatment or distribution operations, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
