Job Summary

Pulice is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading project meetings, reviewing technical specifications, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead project meetings to collect and disseminate information, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Technical Review: Review and resolve technical specifications and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to collect and disseminate technical information, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Scheduling and Monitoring: Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve on-time results, including follow-up with external suppliers.
  • Bill of Materials: Create bill of materials, referencing project drawings and specifications.
  • Quotation Review: Review quotations, utilizing supplier information, cost standards, and technical information from quality, manufacturing, engineering, and design.
  • Conflict Analysis: Determine possibility of conflicts or delays in the construction process by reviewing project drawings, analyzing the process, and suggesting preventative steps for correction.
  • Financial Management: Ensure project charges are correctly represented for accounting's closing process.
  • Additional Duties: Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university, Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in heavy civil engineering.
  • Professional Certification: Professional Engineer License preferred.
  • Skills: Experience in cost estimating and scheduling, local knowledge and experience, knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and knowledge with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral presentation and written skills, goal-oriented, able to set goals and achieve them, interpersonal skills, able to work well and persuade people at all organization levels, and organizational ability, able to plan, prioritize, organize, and monitor activities and projects.
