  • Directs all maintenance and facility-related projects for the casting plant.
  • Enhances maintenance operations by addressing recurring issues through personnel development and data-driven decision-making.
  • Leads and mentors direct reports, including supervisors, maintenance technicians, trainees, and interns in the department.
  • Delegates tasks effectively within the maintenance team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Reduces production interruptions by establishing and following a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Analyzes machine failures to identify root causes and proposes solutions to prevent future incidents.
  • Conducts regular equipment inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Innovates methods to optimize machinery performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Represents the maintenance department in cross-functional meetings.
  • Fosters strong relationships with leadership across departments to support business objectives.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources in the recruitment and performance evaluation of maintenance staff.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or completion of a trade/technical program.
  • Strong mechanical skills preferred, with electrical skills also beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to utilize structured problem-solving techniques to address challenges.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
