Job Description

The Software Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing software solutions, collaborating with multiple development teams to deliver robust and efficient software products. This individual contributor role reports directly to the Vice President of Cloud Engineering & Technical Operations, ensuring seamless integration and execution of cloud architecture strategies.

As a technical leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and managing the direction and architecture of the Container-based Microservices Framework, aligning with legal and regulatory standards
  • Protecting access to information and maintaining partner trust through secure strategies and compliance
  • Evaluating and developing Software Architectures and Solutions that meet business needs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess current states, identify gaps, and determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
  • Utilizing tools and methodologies to design representations for functionality and user interfaces of desired products
  • Adhering to industry-standard architecture review processes for broader alignment and leading architecture reviews
  • Establishing a framework for continuous improvement and refinement of software product delivery, emphasizing SDLC efficiency from software design to system architecture, including microservices
  • Providing technical leadership and accountability to development teams, guiding project direction, and ensuring success
  • Participating in architectural decisions across all projects, contributing to their strategic and operational excellence
What You Bring

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a relevant field
  • 15+ years of extensive experience as a hands-on architect and engineer, demonstrating profound understanding of coding languages and programming concepts
  • Extensive prior experience leading and building Cloud Architecture for Mid to Large size organizations
  • Experience with Data and data storage solutions
  • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure use and operations
  • Experience with AWS/Azure cloud native compute, storage, and networking solutions
Salary and Benefits

This position offers an estimated base salary of $258,600 - $410,450 based on location, with opportunities for bonus, equity, and benefits. The job is eligible for global benefits, including paid time off, parental leave, full health benefits plans, retirement plans, learning and development opportunities, and compassionate care leave.
