Electrical Substation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Substation Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As an Electrical Substation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on projects for electric utilities at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute substation physical projects
- Perform quality control checks on substation physical design projects
- Create bill of materials for substation physical
- Collaborate with a design team
- Attend site visits
- Ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- 2+ years of related substation physical design experience
- Experience with grounding studies/lightning protection and lighting studies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel to project and/or client sites
