Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Owner to join our Abbott Diabetes Care Division. As a key member of our Global Experience Innovation team, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, overall strategy, and long-term goals for one of our key products. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to bring the product to life, ensuring a unified and best-in-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the product vision, overall strategy, and long-term goals for the assigned product
  • Be the subject-matter-expert of the defined product, with a deep understanding of the product's value to the customer and its organizational impact
  • Define the product roadmap and own the product innovation, including understanding the customer experience roadmap and signature moments
  • Translate the roadmap and vision into actionable tasks, with detailed features and functionalities requirement documentation, delivery timeline, and working closely with Global Business Solutions Managers and IT delivery partners
  • Work seamlessly within Global Experience Innovation and other Global Product Owners, cross-functional partners to ensure consistency and alignment of purpose to attain the GCX goal of unified and best-in-class customer experience
  • Routinely communicate product progress, updates, and changes to stakeholders, leadership, and internal development teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field such as Product Design, Development, etc.
  • 7-10 years of experience in driving end-to-end tech-based product development, with a proven track record of bringing a product from conception to market successfully
  • Deep understanding and experience in a similar role within the Medical/Consumer technology or space
  • Experience working within an Agile environment, and utilizing Scrum project management processes
  • Proven leadership experience of a product team through multiple phases
  • Strong analytical skills, able to collect, assess, and derive directives from data to make decisions
  • Action and solution-oriented; self-driven, pro-active, and hands-on
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team-player who enjoys taking on accountability and connecting with people in an international team
  • Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in a second language preferred but not a must
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders across multiple time zones and non-traditional work hours
