Position Summary:

The Retail Store Manager at Vuori plays a pivotal role in guiding the retail sales team by setting a positive example, establishing connections with customers, and effectively communicating Vuori's brand ethos through comprehensive product knowledge and an upbeat, optimistic demeanor. This position also involves mentoring the team to uphold Vuori's standards in retail sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure every customer enjoys an outstanding shopping experience.
  • Take charge of the sales floor and team to prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare fitting rooms, assist in locating sizes, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback on merchandise.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers through follow-ups on purchases, updates on new products, and invitations to events.
  • Stay informed about new arrivals and bestsellers, sharing insights with customers and team members.

Driving Business Success:

  • Inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets in a collaborative commission-based environment.
  • Seek out new product knowledge in the fashion and activewear sectors to serve as a resource for customers.
  • Lead the team in project completion while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate inventory requirements to support business objectives.

Leadership and Management:

  • Oversee the processing of product shipments and manage inventory effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager on daily operations, sales strategies, community engagement, and team management to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Guide the team in daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleanliness.
  • Exercise utmost responsibility and adherence to safety protocols during store opening and closing procedures.
  • Encourage team members to consistently give their best, maintain punctuality, and fulfill their roles.
Qualifications:
  • Availability for morning and/or evening shifts, working 8-hour days, 5 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
  • Demonstrated leadership in punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to foster relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Expertise in customer service, creating memorable experiences, and proactively addressing customer concerns.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Base pay ranges from $28.00 to $33.00 per hour, with actual pay depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. This position is also eligible for additional compensation through commissions, estimated between $28,000 and $36,000, based on store performance.
