Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Audit Clerk to join our team at Ocean Downs. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Verification: Verify drop and win statistics, prepare master gaming reports, slot win reports, and slot meter reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Daily Operating Reports: Prepare daily operating reports based on revenue reports from within the revenue area and other accounting areas, providing a comprehensive overview of our financial performance.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries to record revenues, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Meter Readings and Record Keeping: Perform meter readings and assist with hard count and soft count record keeping, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Accounting Experience: Previous accounting experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time without difficulty and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Licensing Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency, required for all Gaming establishment employees.
Requirements
  • Previous accounting experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time without difficulty
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency
