We are seeking a qualified Recovery Coach to join our team at Calibre Inc. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to empower them to achieve their goals and overcome challenges. You will provide personalized support and guidance, helping them navigate the recovery process and develop the skills they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing peer counseling and support to clients, drawing on your own experiences and expertise.
  • Collaborating with our team to promote a culture of respect, understanding, and empowerment.
  • Helping clients identify and combat stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness.
  • Supporting clients in developing strategies to reduce self-stigma and improve their overall well-being.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • A strong commitment to the rights and abilities of individuals with severe mental illness and substance use disorder.
  • Personal experience with recovery from psychiatric disabilities and substance use.
  • 1-2 years' experience working with others in emotional distress and/or with substance use disorders.
  • High School Diploma required, with Certification as a Peer Specialist preferred.
